The cyclone is a cylindrical-shape suppression system in the upper part and conical in the lower part. The principle on which it is based is the centrifugal force that enables the separation of powder particles from a gas current to which a rotary motion has been imposed. The rotary motion occurs thanks to the tangential inlet on
the body of the cyclone; this generates a centrifugal acceleration that acts on particles in an analogous way to the weight force, but in radial direction.
